Help me!

OK in Photoshop when I have the clone stamp tool out it always clones about 1 inch above the stamp tool, so when I am trying to erase someone's mouth it clones their nose over their mouth, which sucks. It used to clone whatever I wanted it to click on, like with alt + click, so how do I reset it?

it depends on where you are cloning it from...

dont hold the button down when painting with it, keep clicking..

that makes it clone the same small area around where you want it..

alt click the chin

keep clicking while painting (not alt click) so it keeps repeating a small area around where you alt clicked..

its kinda hard to explain.. but i tried..

Make sure you don't use the clone stamp too much though...makes shit blurry.

yeah thats what I was doing, must be going nuts though, I remember being able to clone from the one spot all the time.
