Dark Gray

I need a dark greyish color. In photoshop when I mess around (starting with #757575) with grey then follow the scroller down a little to make it darker it makes it a pinkish grey color which isn't what I want. Can someone help me out?

ok nvm. I'm working on something different now. This bitch is going to take awhile. I'm making 3 scales on the right of the sig go up and down and a color scale in those go darker when the bordering scales go down and lighter when the bordering scales go up. *yawn* that made me tired. I'm 6/10 through
