I thought it would be a good idea to post some ramp plan websites so anyone who wanted to build something new where to look. Here we go:

rampplans.org (http://www.rampplans.org) a really good site, with step-by-step photo journals of peoples attempts at building ramps, rails, kickers, funboxes, whatever...

free ramp plans (http://freerampplans.cjb.net)

Tum Yeto Plans (http://www.tumyeto.com/rampplans.php)

The Perfect MiNi (http://www.slapmagazine.com/new_site/woodshop/mini/index.shtml?1009130201181825) very precise instructions on how to build an excellent mini.

freeramps.com (http://www.freeramps.com)

there are millions more, so feel free to make additions.

Thank God my friend always makes the worst rails to grind on. he gets a rail that is all bent and says go ahead grind it and im like wtf are you kidding. Well i am kind of the tester even though whenever i build something it is way better not trying to brag but it is the truth. . anyway we had a rail but it was his friends so he had to give it back. damn

save that money. instead of wasting 8 whole dollars on something you can get for free, use the money on wood. :D

click on "the perfect mini" in my first post. if you thinks its too big for the amount of materials you have, just size it down accordingly.

damn i would love a mini in my backyard. ever since my dad got too lazy assed to walk the dogs, he just started letting them loose in the backyard. now its just an open yard filled with dead grass and dog shit.. i would love to have concrete put down and build my own little skatepark back there

O yeah to build a 4 to 6 foot mini ramp it would cost around 900-1200 bucks to build. Trust me I done the research.

My friend has a shitty halfpipe about 4 foot high, but its only one piece of ply wide and its solid to keep you speed on it.

I live in Wales... Haven't you heard or seen of all the skate plazas going up...? There's one in Stoke-on-trent, there's another in Milton Keynes? How did they end up with the facilities? They hassled their councils.

Seriously dude, do some fundraising, do a survey on how many local skaters want a skate area built, work out the %, then hassle the suits in the council hall and point out why a (good) skate facility will benefit them eg, the skaters will love you, the skaters will spend more time in the facility than attempting to break off skate stoppers etc.

GO HASSLE YOUR COUNCIL!!
